Nishijin-ori is a collective term for pre-dyed patterned textiles produced in Nishijin, Kyoto.
It is characterized by small-lot production of a wide variety of products, and is especially known for high-end items such as obi (kimono sashes).Its texture is overwhelmingly superior to others.
